My specialty for the past 25 years has been helping non-tech experts understand how best to learn about and leverage the tech in their lives. Because of this, I have had the opportunity to do some exciting things in my career and I'd like to share my experiences with you in an attempt to help you make better decisions about the tech in your life.
Starting at the age of 14, I was an IT technician that worked on all sorts of computer systems. In my early 20s I was working in massive datacenters with robotic arms fetching petabytes worth of data for the F-18 Super Hornet and F-35 Lightning fighter jet programs at Northrop Grumman. At the age of 27 I was Northrop Grumman's youngest Chief Technologist. My job was to advise leadership teams for corporate and government programs, some of which you would know as household names and some of which I'd have to kill you if I told you their names. Nowadays I am an entrepreneur and head of tech for Starting Strength Gyms (a true passion project where the tech that my team builds helps people get strong and become healthier humans).
